Professor Carolyn Heinrich shares her thoughts on whether there is anything novel or distinctive about SIBs
Carolyn J. Heinrich is a Professor of Public Policy and Education at Vanderbilt University. Her research focuses on education, social welfare policy, public management and performance management. She has been involved in pay for success programmes in the US (equivalent of SIBs in the UK) for many year and we were keen to hear what she had to say.
Is there anything distinctive about SIBs? What do we mean by an 'ideal' SIB? Are they worth the in investment?
This video was taken at our annual conference last year. Carolyn was our keynote speaker and we are excited to welcome her back this year.
