We are the International Network for Data on Impact and Government Outcomes (INDIGO). Built with and for a global community of practitioners, researchers and policymakers, INDIGO is a platform for those working to build more effective, accountable and sustainable partnerships between governments and other sectors.

INDIGO is a community of peers with an interest in sharing, using and reusing data from impact-oriented partnerships between governments and other sectors. The INDIGO initiative includes peer learning opportunities, a system for sharing data, and various datasets available as open data on the GO Lab website.

As an emerging data collaborative, we believe that helping more people share and use quality data will improve both the efficiency and effectiveness of cross-sector partnerships.
INDIGO brings together a global community of practitioners, policymakers and researchers to share knowledge, exchange ideas and learn from one another. Through our peer learning sessions and Hack and Learn events, we create opportunities to collaborate and explore how data can support better partnerships and social outcomes.
INDIGO provides an open, collaborative approach to collecting and sharing information about outcomes-based projects. Our data definitions and open-source code are freely available on GitHub, making it easier for anyone to use, contribute to and build on our work.
All INDIGO data is openly available, making it free for anyone to access, use and share. Practitioners have used INDIGO data to discover projects, compare approaches and inform the design of outcomes-based partnerships. From benchmarking outcome metrics to exploring trends across countries and sectors, INDIGO provides valuable insights to support the design of new projects and delivery of ongoing programmes.
