Dr Chih Hoong Sin speaking about the challenges that providers and commissioners face at our international conference
Dr Chih Hoong Sin is Director of Innovation and Social Investment at Traverse and a Fellow of Practice with the GO Lab. He has worked on supporting commissioners and has a lot of experience around designing, implementing and evaluating SIBs across many sectors. He has supported the Life Chances Fund projects as they develop their social impact bonds across the UK.
In this video, he shares the main challenges that commissioners and providers face when developing a social impact bond. He argues that SIBs are a creative model and shouldn't be considered a technical exercise. However challenging they are, we must focus on the social outcomes and the beneficiaries we seek to support..
This video was from our annual International conference 2018 and we are excited to expand on our learning in this years conference on 5-6th September 2019. We are making a call for papers from policymakers and researchers. Feel free to get in touch if you want any more information
