We are looking for outstanding individuals with an extensive track record of public service and a commitment to the mission of the GO Lab. The Fellowship offers experienced professionals from outside academia the chance to shape our work so that it remains responsive and relevant to policymakers and practitioners the world over. It is also a unique opportunity to become part of our intellectual community at the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford. Fellowships are awarded for one year, and each Visiting Fellow of Practice contributes to our work in many different ways, depending on their areas of expertise and interest.
We value diversity and inclusion and are looking to appoint a diverse group of individuals to serve as Visiting Fellows of Practice. We encourage applications from individuals representing a range of backgrounds spanning ethnic, cultural, geographical, and income differences.
Whether you work at the grassroots, local government, or for a large multilateral organisation, we'd love to hear from you if you want to use your expertise, knowledge and networks to help advance the mission of the GO Lab to enable governments around the world to foster more effective cross-sector partnerships to improve the life outcomes of those most vulnerable in society.

Every year the Government Outcomes Lab appoints a small number of leading experts from across the public, private and voluntary sectors as GO Lab Fellows of Practice. This is a pro-bono position, usually offered for one year. The Fellows offer their practical expertise and knowledge and help to further the mission of the GO Lab.
The GO Lab Visiting Fellows of Practice contribute flexibly to our work in many different ways, including:
Individual contributions are agreed with each Fellow prior to the start of the Fellowship, and are subject to review and amendments throughout the year, to ensure continued alignment with and relevance to GO Lab priorities.
Alignment with GO Lab mission and values, and clear scope for concrete contributions around at least one specific area of work (across our research and/or capacity-building work);
Expertise. We seek experienced professionals with extensive and in-depth expertise on areas that are relevant to current GO Lab strands of work
Skills. The Fellows are thoughtful and critical thinkers, who demonstrate intellectual curiosity about our core areas of research and have the ability to contribute effectively to our capacity building work (e.g. speaking at events, contributing to knowledge resources)
Opinion leadership. We look for individuals recognised as leading experts within their respective fields or areas of work, and are influential among their peers or within their professional networks.
